Cardiograph Classic App Reviews

Works well and consistently

I have taken regular, consistent, and accurate measurements with this app since 2012. It stores a history of your measurements, with time and date stamps, and it can store a history for more than one person. The interface is nicely done. This app, just as other cardio apps on the App Store, measures your pulse, not your heart rate, so you can easily verify the accuracy of the measurements manually. When taking a measurement in the beginning, put the iPad/iPhone on a stable surface in a well-lit area, rest your arm on a surface, and the measurements will be reliable. After using it for some time, I can take accurate measurements in a most conditions. I hope the app will soon be updated to integrate with Apples health app. Currently it has only a very limited export function of a single measurement. Better analysis of the collected data is missing.

Very reliable & accurate

I use this app to track my tachycardia & arrhythmia. Always very accurate. Excellent app, one Ive recommended to many!

Doesnt like IPad mini

Wont work consistently with IPad mini. Complains light level is too low even in a brightly lit room. Pretty useless on that device...

Pointless

It worked well at first, but now its terribly frustrating. It takes several *several* attempts before actually registering a pulse. Pointless if it takes up to 10 minutes to get your BMP and its already slowing.

Nice App

It does what it says very effectively and when I checked my pulse the old fashioned way it was quite accurate.

Easy to use!

Great app - so easy to use. Quick and accurate! I love having this on my phone!!

Works every time

I use it regularly and it works very well, both on my iPhone and iPad Pro 9.7. Very happy with it. If it doesnt work its because I dont have my finger on it properly, and that doesnt happen very often.

Records deletion bug

Attempt to delete a record results in the application failure. Please fix it.

Super

Jak dla mnie THE BEST!

Useful!!!

Very useful when you use it properly!:)

Great

The best heart rate app up to now. Please develop it!

Great!

It works perfectly on iPhone 5! Thanks!

Unfair update

I have had the app CARDIOGRAPH for a long time. Since the last iphone IOS update it didnt run anymore. I downloaded it from Itunes: now it runs and it gave me back my old records but this update COSTED ME 1,79€!!! BE AWARE!!

Needs upgrade.

Doesnt work very well with iPhone 7.

Works great for normal heartbeat

I purchased to log PSVT. The app cant log an irregular heartbeat. It gives an error message because when it doesnt detect a regular rate, it "thinks" its reading wrong or you arent placing your finger properly. A one button screen shot feature would be a nice addition so the user could at least capture the irregular activity.

I want my money back

The app is not able to detect pulse and errors out in 80% of attempts. Took the phone out of the case, experimented with different coverage and pressure on the lens and it just doesnt work.

Rip off

So instead of updating the current app that we already paid for, they decided to make a new app that does the exact same thing that costs another 2 dollars

bleah

HORRIBLE Forgot I tried this last time it appeared on Apps Gone Free. At best it was extremely inconsistent re when it would take a measurement. To be fair, this was on my iPad mini. Now it failed to take a measurement on the first try, stating there was not enough light. mPossible remedies: more light & try not pressing down as much on the camera. The app uses the selfie camera by default. mIt suggested switching to the other camera, which was not possible. Moving the iPad just below a bright light fixture and the app started then quit after one beat cycle. Adjusting the finger used or pressure to super light over the lens was not a solution. The app then immediately offers an improved upgrade, which when you click on, migrates to the App Store with a 1.99 price tag. Recalling the first go around a few years ago, I downloads 2 apps that went free about the same time: this one was faster (about 15 sec) vs 60, though frustratingly inconsistent for when it would take a measurement. The other Cardio, worked every time and one did not have to hold a finger over the lense, rather hold the dp selfie camera in front of your face, mad just until it says hold still, and accurate measurement results (I compare it before and after measurements at different doc offices and the automated machines in drug stores). Note: as it takes the measurement ignore both the displays rate and the EKG like heartbeat strip, as they are both nonsense - but the final result is accurate.

Doesnt work

Very cool concept but unfortunately the app doesnt work in my iPhone 6s. I tested it at least 6 times, same error message that it couldnt provide a result very time.

Doesnt work!

I could feel my heartbeat in the finger, made sure not to press too hard, never saw anything on the graph after multiple attempts.
